A Look at the Eclipse IDE

We’ve been on the lookout for a good language-neutral integrated development environment (IDE), and the Eclipse project appears to be a very solid cross-platform solution. While it doesn’t support all languages natively, there are a ton of plugins available for it. Read more about Eclipse in an overview published earlier this week over on MacDevCenter.

One Response to “A Look at the Eclipse IDE”

Has anyone out there used Eclipse in conjunction with Python [www.python.org] and Subversion [subversion.tigris.org]? There appear to be multiple plugins available for each of these two functions, so it would be nice to hear from someone who has actually installed and used them. Anyone?
